What is Modern Jive?
Modern Jive is a trendy mix of salsa, jive, Latin and sensual dancing. Probably the most fun you can have with your clothes on. It has eliminated much of the complex footwork of other partner dance forms.
 | It's fun, easy to learn and can be danced to all popular modern music including chart hits, techno, dance, pop, swing, blues and most Latin music. This modern jive dance originated in Paris, France by the American G.I.'s at the end of World War 2. It was later introduced to Britain in the 1980's and came here to Australia in 1991. |

Because Le Groove is in a constant state of evolution, this style allows for the creation of new moves. As a Beginner, you will quickly gain a repertoire of moves to show off at nightclubs and parties. At the same time, you will have fun, get fit and make new friends. |  |
